About

As a young parent I cooked meals from scratch and pinched pennies wherever I could while trying to source local, ethical food that was healthy and nutritious for my family. That journey has brought me to this current resting place, a small homestead in Sheridan (right outside of Greenville) where I raise my own chickens, ducks, and bees.

Like you, I wanted to provide the absolute best I could afford for my family. I wanted to know-- with confidence-- that in the morning when I made french toast for my little ones that the chicken that laid the egg I coated the bread in lived the best life; that nothing had been added to the honey I sweetened the sticks with, and most importantly, that the food I cooked was delicious, nutritious, and made with quality ingredients.

Winslow Heritage Farm was hatched in Spring 2025, with the purchase of some used woodenware, 2 Golden West packages, and 10 chicks. In spring 2026 we've added ducks, along with increasing our honey operation to 11 hives.

Today we focus on bringing delicious honey, farm-fresh eggs, and other healthy foods to our dear friends and neighbors. We hope every bite brings you in touch with the stillness of the homestead, connecting you back to your food's origin. By doing so, I hope to share the wisdom of my favorite Midwest Grandmothers.
